The National Emergency Briefing
A National Emergency Briefing for MPs and public figures took place in Westminster on 27 November 2025. It brought together recognised experts to explain how climate and nature risks are expected to affect the UK, and what actions could reduce those risks. It covered climate breakdown, biodiversity, food security, economy, national security, green transition, tipping points. It was a stunning achievement and needs to be shared as widely as possible.
There s now an important film summarising the talks and you can see it locally. This documentary ” People’ s Emergency Briefing” headed by Chris Packham has just been released for community use only . It is the film which is presented by communities for communities.

We have 5 so far organised for Portsmouth and others in Havant and Stubbingon.
It is vital for the Portsmouth community to be informed.
Various environmental and faith groups have come together and want to inform the public as our government is failing to keep us fully informed about the risk to our future. Solutions are included but we must wake up so that we are aware of the urgency .

MPs and councillors are invited. The aim of this documentary is to ask people to write to their MP and ask for a televised national briefing on all major TV channels ( Covid , second World War like)
