The National Emergency Briefing

A National Emergency Briefing for MPs and public figures took place in Westminster on 27 November 2025. It brought together recognised experts to explain how climate and nature risks are expected to affect the UK, and what actions could reduce those risks. It covered climate breakdown, biodiversity, food security, economy, national security, green transition, tipping points. It was a stunning achievement and needs to be shared as widely as possible.

We are promised a film to share soon and have plans to show it in Portsmouth but in the meantime, we are asked to share videos and discuss the issues. Ideas for hosting these at local churches, cinemas and community halls would be welcome.
